Aha, you have reached the place where my mostly crappy fanfic live. Or at least where doors to their habitats exist. Abandon all hope ye who enter.
Some warnings: I am not a serious writer and I do not write serious stories. If you are looking for clever things and socially commentary, you are in the wrong spot. If you are looking for ridiculous fluff/crack of the mostly slash variety with a helping of porn, then we're in business. I am not a prolific writer, so this will always be sparse. Also, I really like movie plot AUs.

As much as he hated to admit it, Jaskier was one of those who had peaked in high school. Back then he had been universally adored and had people left and right begging for his attention. The years since then? No so much any of that. When he received the invitation to his high school reunion, it could not have come at a worst time; not only could he barely book enough jobs to stay alive, but he was woefully single. What he did have was the old standby: lying through his teeth. All he needed was one hot distraction in the form of the one person he could never get to look at him twice: Geralt.

Having lost a high stakes game of Gwent against Yennefer, Geralt rides out on a deceptively simple mission: collect a rare ingredient to replenish her spell supplies. Special flowers that only bloom a single day a year, on midsummer's morning. Said to be guarded by a creature that he was to best without killing.
Geralt has read about these flowers. Knows that they need to be picked carefully so no part of them touches the skin, and slowly so none of the pollen gets released into the air. Jaskier, on the other hand, knows very little, and listens even less.

Arthur has always known exactly who he was, what was expected of him and the privileges to be gained from it. What he couldn't figure out was where an off-center, too skinny best friend and a crush who seemed to notice everyone but him, fit in. Includes: HighSchool!AU. Jealous/pining!Arthur. Slightly criminal!Merlin. Rugby matches. D&D games. Lots of cluelessness and denial. One sided Merlin/Gwaine and Arthur/Gwen.
